AirSial Sukkur Flight – New Domestic Destination

From 13 April 2026, AirSial has officially announced to operate a weekly flight from Islamabad to Sukkur. AirSial has also operated a special flight from Karachi to Sukkur on 09 December 2025. Sukkur Airport, which is known as Begum Nusrat Bhutto Airport, is capable of handling international flights. Sukkur Airport is the second main airport in the Sindh province, which is 8 km from the center of the city of Sukkur. It has a paved runway of 2,700 meters.

Begum Nusrat Bhutto Airport serves mainly the population of Sukkur, Khairpur, and Rohri. Sukkur is the 3rd largest city in Sindh province after Karachi and Hyderabad.

Why AirSial Operating to Sukkur?

As per NAP 2023, the Airline RPT (Regular Public Transport) license, the operator must dedicate 5% of their total domestic ASK (Available Seat Kilometers) to at least one secondary route. In case of failure, the airline would face potential suspension or cancellation of operating permits.

To avoid operational penalties, the airline will start operations on secondary routes. Moreover, AirSial plans to cover more secondary routes like Skardu.
